Overview

FT-FTC-OW renews the filtering element in Spectra’s optional oil/water separator. This stage helps intercept oil and fuel contamination before it reaches the membrane.
In the documented Ventura layout, the oil-removal housing sits ahead of the 5-micron sediment housing. The oil-removal cartridge and the sediment cartridge therefore serve separate stages; ordering this element does not add the extra housing to a watermaker.

Spectra’s Ventura maintenance section says to service the oil/water separator at the same time as the 5-micron filter. Inspect the installation according to that procedure.
