Overview
KIT-BCK-B supplies both sediment-filter ratings used in a two-stage Spectra prefilter arrangement. The 20-micron stage catches coarser particles before the 5-micron stage; the separate carbon cartridge belongs in the freshwater-flush circuit.
Three cartridges of each sediment rating provide stock for three paired changes when the installed arrangement has one housing of each rating. Actual replacement frequency depends on the feed water and the system’s filter indication.

Do I install a 20-micron cartridge wherever a 5-micron one fits?
Keep each housing’s specified rating. The two cartridges can share a physical size while providing different filtration; substituting the coarser rating changes what reaches the next stage.
