Overview
KIT-BCK-D combines commercial sediment and carbon cartridges with SC-1 storage chemical. Spectra lists this kit for Farallon 1800 and Farallon 2800 systems. Its larger cartridges distinguish it from the standard-filter cruise kits.
In the Farallon Connect arrangement, seawater passes through the 20-micron stage and then the 5-micron stage before the high-pressure module. The carbon cartridge handles the separate freshwater-flush supply.

How many filter changes are represented?
For an arrangement with one 20-micron and one 5-micron housing, the kit contains three complete sediment-cartridge pairs. It contains one carbon cartridge, which has its own service interval; the Farallon manual specifies at least every six months.
