Overview
EL-MTR-1/2HP24 is the earlier 24V, half-horsepower Leeson motor used in Newport 400 feed-pump modules. It drives the separately identified vane pump.
Spectra identifies this motor as permanently discontinued. The Newport 400C manual specifies EL-MTR-1/2HP12 as the replacement for affected older 24V systems, with adjustment of the PWM controller output for high, low and flush operation.
A 12V replacement in this application requires the manufacturer’s conversion procedure; matching the boat’s 24V supply alone does not identify the correct motor.
