Overview
EL-MPC-RMCD is the LCD remote-control panel identified in Spectra’s MPC parts drawings. It provides the user-facing controls and readout; the MPC circuit board and remote cable are separately listed parts.
The manual distinguishes this LCD panel from EL-MPC-RMCDFD, which it labels VFD. Identify the installed control generation and panel before selecting a replacement.
For the documented MPC 3000-to-5000 conversion, Spectra says the existing display can be retained. A board upgrade does not automatically require a new panel.
