Overview

EL-MPC-PCBDPA40 is the MPC-5000 circuit-board assembly identified in Spectra’s parts manual. It is the control board, rather than the display panel, salinity probe or a complete conversion kit.

For older MPC controls, the manufacturer identifies this board in the SP4 probe upgrade path. The separate MPC 3000-to-5000 kits include additional sensors and plumbing; the 24V kit also includes a 12V flush solenoid.

The upgrade guide specifies ferrule-style wire terminations at the A40 board, whereas the older MPC 3000 used ring terminals. Identify the existing controller, voltage and wiring before choosing a board-only repair or conversion kit.
