PP251616W converts a John Guest push-fit socket into a hose-barb connection. The smooth 1/2-inch OD stem plugs into the socket; the barbed end fits hose with a 1/2-inch inside diameter.
The stem is not a second tube socket. You need an existing compatible push-fit fitting to receive it.
