EL-SWT-SMLV is the side-mounted float switch in Spectra’s tank diagrams. The LB Connect manual shows it as the low-level switch that starts filling when enabled.
The Ventura manual also identifies this part as an alternative tank-full switch where the tank top cannot be accessed. Side mounting alone therefore does not determine whether it serves the high- or low-level function.
Match the system’s intended function, float orientation and wiring. If used for automatic low-level starting, Spectra advises against leaving that function enabled while away from the boat.
