PL-MTE-3/8X1/2P is the elbow connecting a 3/8-inch NPT port to 1/2-inch tubing. Spectra identifies it in the Newport 400 MkII feed-pump plumbing.
The diagram places this elbow at the lower plumbing connection beside the magnetic-drive pump, separately from the 1/2-inch-thread fittings on the intake manifold.
