Overview
PL-PMP-SFPH is the wet-end head assembly for the documented Spectra Shurflo feed pumps. It replaces the pumping head while retaining the existing electric motor.
Spectra lists the diaphragm drive, check valves and pressure switch as included in the head assembly. This makes it a broader repair than buying only the diaphragm drive, but smaller than replacing the pump and motor together.

Do I need a separate pressure switch with this head?
Spectra lists a pressure switch among the head’s included components. Do not add a duplicate switch just because it appears separately in an exploded drawing.
Will a new head fix an electrical motor fault?
A head-only replacement retains the motor. Follow the feed-pump troubleshooting procedure to distinguish a pumping-head problem from a motor or supply problem.
